A. Principle: Based on Real Use
AlphA only records a day of user's activity if calculations have been modified. A simple opening does not count!
Early January, the list of users (by rates descending order) is sent to the client for verification. Each user is categorized into one of the four types below, based on the number of days AlphA was actually used during the past year.

B. Year 1: Commitment
The new client commits to an initial user setup of users A, B, and C that seems appropriate for the year.
The minimum annual fee is €802 (excl. tax). It includes one user and a credit of 30 "Type S" user-days, which can be freely allocated among multiple occasional contributors - ideal for engaging freelancers for short periods without affecting the price.
An annuity runs from February 7 to February 7. Any license purchased during the annuity is calculated on a pro-rata basis. No price revision is made if the client's user mix changes during the period. These changes are reflected in the following year's invoice.
Initial training is included for all new clients (2 hours, preferably in person). Additional training sessions are billed at €450 (excl. tax) for the first participant, plus €200 (excl. tax) for each additional participant. Please contact us for groups larger than six participants.
A sliding scale is applied to each user: the 1st user (always a type A – basic plan) is charged the full rate. Each additional user - regardless of type - receives a discount on their specific rate, down to a minimum of €172. Example for 2 types A + 1 type B scheme: the 1st is charged €802; the 2nd has a 7% discount (€745); and the third a 14% discount (€520). We recommend using the calculation tool below.
